The first ten amendments and the Constitution under a Republic must serve; accordingly:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Freedom of Speech, Press, Religion and Petition:Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Right to keep and bear arms: A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Conditions for quarters of soldiers: No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Right of search and seizure regulated: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. Provisions concerning prosecution: No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6. Right to a speedy trial, witnesses, etc.: In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;7. Right to a trial by jury: In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8. Excessive bail, cruel punishment: Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;9. Rule of construction of Constitution: The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;10. Rights of the States under Constitution: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature&amp;#8217;s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.&amp;#8212;That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;!-- more --&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;powers from the consent of the governed, &amp;#8212;That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.&amp;#8212;Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.&lt;br/&gt; He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.&lt;br/&gt; He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only. &lt;br/&gt; He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures. &lt;br/&gt; He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.&lt;br/&gt; He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.&lt;br/&gt; He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.&lt;br/&gt; He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.&lt;br/&gt; He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.&lt;br/&gt; He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.&lt;br/&gt; He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.&lt;br/&gt; He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.&lt;br/&gt; He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:&lt;br/&gt; For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:&lt;br/&gt; For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:&lt;br/&gt; For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:&lt;br/&gt; For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent: &lt;br/&gt; For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:&lt;br/&gt; For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences&lt;br/&gt; For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:&lt;br/&gt; For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:&lt;br/&gt; For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.&lt;br/&gt; He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.&lt;br/&gt; He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people. &lt;br/&gt; He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty &amp;amp; perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.&lt;br/&gt; He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands. &lt;br/&gt; He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Brittish brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.&lt;/p&gt;

Founding Documents (Click here).</title><description>&lt;a href="http://www.republicoftheunitedstates.org/what-is-the-republic/founding-documents/"&gt;What is the People's Republic of? Founding Documents (Click here).&lt;/a&gt;: &lt;p&gt;In concern for all of humanity, “We the People” re-inhabited our lawful de jure (meaning “by right of legal establishment”) government on March 30, 2010, by serving notice on the de facto corporation, known as the “UNITED STATES”.   (USC 28 Section 3002, No. 15(a) “United States” means a Federal Corporation.)   The United States was incorporated February 21, 1871 (16 Stat. 419, Chap. 62, 41st Congress, 3rd Session), the purpose being “an Act to provide a Government for the District of Columbia, reorganized June 8th, 1878, (20 Stat. 102, Chapter 180, 45th Congress, 2nd Session) as “an Act providing a permanent form of government for the District of Columbia” aka US Inc.  Uniform Commercial Code, UCC9-307 (h) states “Location of United States.  The United States is located in the District of Columbia.  A lawful grand jury in each of the fifty republics created a new Declaration of Independence that was lawfully served on the corporate UNITED STATES informing them that the original de jure government was restored.   We have claimed our right to exist as a free and independent people on our land, thus exercising our God-given unalienable rights as defined in our Constitution and the Bill of Rights.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On July 21, 2010 “We the People” of the de jure government proclaimed worldwide and made our “Declaration of Sovereignty for the Republic for the united States of America” to The Hague (a.k.a. the International Court of Justice), the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the United Nations (UN).  On September 23, 2010, the first session of congress was convened by the united free Republics of the re-inhabited united States of America.  The seating of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of the Republic government were successfully established.  This was completed by more   than the required two-thirds majority vote of “We the People” on the land of the independent Republics.  Delegates from more than 42 free Republics (States) attended, and officers for all three branches of our government have been officially sworn into office, lawfully electing interim President James Timothy Turner and interim Vice President Charles Eugene Wright, along with other established cabinet members with a presiding majority vote of 94% approval.  Thus, the Republic government is officially re-inhabited and staffed for the first time since 1868 by the will of “We the People”.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The de facto UNITED STATES CORPORATION was unlawfully established by the forty-first congress in 1871 by deceptive means and without proper consent from “We the People”.  The American people were placed under involuntary servitude by a “Legal” system of laws that have continually violated the “Constitution for the united States of America”, “Bill of Rights” and the “Declaration of Independence”.  The corporate constitution was changed from the original form, wherein Amendments were unlawfully added and removed without the people’s consent.  Since 1871, the abuses of this corporation upon both the international community as well as the American people are inestimable and unconscionable.  De facto Congress has repeatedly violated their Oaths of Office, fiduciary responsibilities, and in many cases, committed treasonous acts against “We the People” of the united States of America and the world.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We humbly come forward apologizing for the numerous atrocities we have unknowingly allowed the U.S. CORPORATION to carry out upon the international community.   It is our mission to establish the American image of truth, honesty, integrity and honor around the world.  Our plan is to rebuild our economy and support other economies around the world, fulfilling humanitarian needs.  We will allow our military to withdraw from unnecessary conflicts around the world and promote world peace and prosperity.  We intend to follow God the Creator’s command to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and care for the sick, irrespective of creed, religion or race.   There is no law against these things.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Mayor Quan has proven very unreasonable to deal with; I am hoping  for acceptance in this case that we might find temporary shelter in the  square at Smythe Kramer. These campers are the committed who might  climb, which will keep out the problems.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;div&gt;For transparancy, I&amp;#8217;ve included all of the email  attempts to reach the chancellor. So far, his office phone recommended I  email and then these emails with no response. So, I figure from the  police chief or a general department email (feel free to forward this!)  would be best to raise awareness of who occupy hillside support  committees are can be best to deal with this situation.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;I , Edward Miller, am trying this to negotiate the  long-term peaceful camp spot above Berkeley, at 0-Dwight Way. It&amp;#8217;s  regent property, but practically has been shown to be a great space  that&amp;#8217;s near-deserted (only 30% of the housing above is now occupied) and  we&amp;#8217;ve had no community complaints (the heroin? one was because of a  peace band, and officers clearly knew it not to be true, being us heh)  but we have had continued police intervention, which cannot continue  this way.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;My group has great things we need to do, a mission  much larger than protesting the police or the chancellor. We can build  peaceful political, economic, social, and ecological solutions to world  problems if given a few days of peace. You guys also have great things  to do with your time, and we understand that it&amp;#8217;s good to have the UC  officers around on call, perhaps by blue button phone in case of  emergency, but I understand that responding to calls is more important  than a raid encounter every night. So I&amp;#8217;d recommend spreading this news  that there are a few people up there, and to just have officers not  approach way up there on the hill.  Maybe next week with Captain Steve  Rodrick will be a good chance to test it out.&lt;/div&gt;

We are refugees of a Berkeley tent city,  where some of us were camped before eviction. Some of us have day jobs,  wilderness experience, sustainability degrees, art degrees, medicine  interests, and feelings. Today, we face the problem of many young  individuals raised in a system which we are protesting directly with  democratic and peaceful assembly. Today, the request is approval of a  small camp at Smythe Fernwald property. We come to you today with a most  basic of needs and requests; &lt;em&gt;we are learning what those basic needs and requests are.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;1. Assurance of safety.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt; a. We know about  health. Good medicine and keeping things decent is the reason I am  writing this email. There is no better medicine then peace and; let  those who are the most in need of healing in society come to &amp;#8220;Che camp&amp;#8221;  where we are established at the base of Claremont Canyon and a whole  regional parks system that can support them. I have already talked with  folks from the regional parks, and they seem quite reasonable. It&amp;#8217;s good  exercise and exploration to explore parks and live with nature and eat  healthy food. Native Americans know further about how to provide the  opportunity of health to a common group. Community is healthy, too. For  those genuinely concerned in the health and human services of the camp,  we would request access to use a restroom that can be recommended in  response to this email.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt; b. We know about security. From experience, a system of mostly  peacekeepers and an order to &amp;#8221;dogs&amp;#8221; (at the independent UC police) to  stand down WILL work best for security.  If anything occurs, having an  infrastructure for emergencies will be essential to maintaining this  camp. I simply ask today that after the chancellor&amp;#8217;s support, University  police tasked with maintenence of that area can simply respond to calls  from the blue button phones for now. We do not need lights in our eyes,  in fact a basic understanding of civil liberties and the people you are  hired TO PROTECT from those amongst you who would cause problems is  sufficient. If these basic rights arguments are not sufficient for a  reasonable dialogue with &amp;#8220;the police,&amp;#8221; support from the city of Berkeley  and internal affairs lawsuits in your own office may speak to the most  hard-headed. Please, respect our first amendment right to assemble.. I  need assurance that Berkeley Cal police will not be an interference with  land that is a housing project.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;We  are a small group of peace-loving assembly-people, with nonprofit and  legal support, hoping to start a long-term peaceful occupy spot within  the East Bay. We&amp;#8217;re starting a housing project that&amp;#8217;s bottom-up and is  soon a 501c3 and foundation. If some would like housing, this would be  great to organize with health and human services at Berkeley City Hall,  and the Smythe Fernwald (not the physical center, but the services) in  order to find a place for some. Ideal in my mind would be a farm  because, what industry is left for (us) here in the US? Farming, and  community and urban gardening, is a future for America&amp;#8217;s youth. &lt;div&gt;In the spirit of the police review commission yesterday, I&amp;#8217;d like to extend a welcome to the Chancellor to come to a meeting on Wednesday, in the creation of a peaceful protest mission statement. This is now the sixth copy, and the fifth email the office has been sent. Also copied are a student, community member, and staff who served on the board yesterday. These are hopefully enough caucus to get some respect and basic human dignity from this office. &lt;/div&gt;
